While Castle Rock may be a thriving community, the Town’s Western heritage is alive and well. Don’t miss the weekend of activities to celebrate Douglas County’s history and honor a longstanding tradition. This year is the 101st year of the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo.
The Old West will truly come to life. Watch as cowhands drive a herd of longhorn steer and cattle through Downtown. Starting at Rock Park, the herd will continue along Perry Street before completing the journey right in front of the Castle Rock Police Department. Lots of Western activities will take place in Festival Park, too!
