Join us for the 10th annual Pueblo Keyboard Arts Festival featuring an evening of “Monster” piano fun. CSU-Pueblo faculty, students, alumni, and guests will demonstrate what FIVE grand pianos can do. The engaging program includes Mozart’s Two Piano Concerto (performed with the CSU-Pueblo Orchestra), Robert Pace’s Rhumba, the world premiere of Dupre’s Cortege and Litany arranged for keyboard ensemble (arr. by CSU-Pueblo student Jay Elliott), and the American premiere of Alexander Yossifov’s (Bulgaria) Toccata and Canon for two pianos, sixteen hands.
Featured artists include guest artist Dr. Joachim Reinhuber, CSU-P faculty Dr. Zahari Metchkov, the CSU-Pueblo Orchestra directed by Dr. Timothy Hsu, CSU-Pueblo Students/alumni, and Southern Colorado piano teachers/students.
We warmly invite all piano alumni of the CSU-Pueblo music department to attend a special pre-concert reception with light hor d’oeuvres and beverages. Non-alumni are welcome to attend for $10.
