Description:
Join Nature’s Educators for this popular presentation featuring the birds that share our home. Learn about the characteristics that define raptors, including where they live and how they hunt. Arrive early for picnicking and activities, then stick around for the chance to meet some of these live raptors up close and personal after the presentation.
This is a free family-friendly program presented by the Town in partnership with Douglas Land Conservancy. Donations are appreciated to help further the program!
Registration for these events is encouraged but not required. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows. There is seating for 500. Families are invited to bring a picnic dinner.
Donations to Douglas Land Conservancy are suggested as $10 per person or $20 per family. In case of inclement weather, the rain date for this event is July 24.
