Description:
When you think of Native Americans, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Did you think of something modern or historical? Did you imagine Natives in space? Did you imagine Natives time travelling? Indigenous Futurism places Indigenous peoples in the future and allows us to envision what culture, identity, and society look like in different, sometimes fantastic, situations.
We’ll watch short films and read contemporary short stories that give us insight into our current reality and imagine ways forward out of current problems.
